Joint Mobilization

If you make even a small adjustment in the position of any one of your bones while you're standing upright, when you tune in, you can feel that it effects almost your entire body in one way or another.  The muscles adapt to these changes and begin to exert more force in order to correct for the bones that have shifted out of their position.

Ironically, these muscles then begin to torque and compress joints due the extra contraction they've installed to handle being out of alignment.  It happens so often that the initial adaptation the body uses becomes part of the problem later on, contributing to reduced mobility.

Much of how flexible and energized we feel is connected to the ability of the bones and joints to move freely. Although we are used to manipulating muscle to decompress joints, it is also possible to manipulate the position of bones to free up soft tissue.

Using simple, but advanced techniques, these courses assess, differentiate, connect, balance, and integrate the effortless flow of movement from the inside out. It demonstrates how to release symptoms of spasm, pain, inflammation, and stiffness through focusing on the position and freedom of joints.
